These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Taxi Service Melbourne website and to bookings and trips arranged through us. By making a booking or using our website, you agree to these terms.

1. Our services

We provide taxi and transfer services across Melbourne, including airport transfers, local, corporate, long-distance, group and family transfers, and NDIS and accessible travel. Services and vehicles are subject to availability.

2. Bookings

  • You can book online, by phone or by email. Please give accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, date, time, passenger numbers and luggage details.
  • A booking is confirmed when we confirm it to you. We may decline or cancel a booking if a vehicle is not available or the details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.
  • Please tell us about any special requirements, such as wheelchair access, child seats or extra luggage, when you book so we can arrange a suitable vehicle.
  • Please be ready at the pickup point at the booked time. For airport pickups, please let us know your flight details so we can plan around them.

3. Fares and payment

  • Fares are quoted at the time of booking or charged as applicable to the trip. Tolls, airport fees, parking charges and similar third-party costs may be added where they apply.
  • Extra stops, route changes, long waiting times or additional passengers or luggage may change the fare.
  • Payment is due at the end of the trip or at the time of booking if we ask for prepayment. We will confirm accepted payment methods when you book.
  • Where a trip is funded by NDIS, TAC, WorkSafe or another funding body, you are responsible for providing the correct approval and billing details. If the funding body does not pay, the fare may become payable by you.

4. Passenger responsibilities

  • Passengers must follow the driver’s reasonable instructions and wear seatbelts.
  • Smoking, vaping, and bringing prohibited or unsafe items into the vehicle are not allowed.
  • Children must travel in a suitable restraint as required by Victorian road rules. Please tell us when you book if you need one arranged.
  • Assistance animals are welcome in our vehicles.
  • You may be charged reasonable costs for cleaning or repairing damage caused by you or your passengers.
  • We may refuse or end a trip if a passenger is abusive, threatening or endangers the safety of the driver or others.

5. Delays

We aim to arrive on time, but traffic, weather, road closures, flight changes and other circumstances beyond our control can cause delays. We will let you know as soon as reasonably possible if we expect a significant delay.

6. Changes and cancellations

Changes, cancellations and refunds are covered in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, and to the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control. Please keep valuables with you, as we are not responsible for items left in vehicles unless required by law. If you leave something behind, contact us as soon as possible and we will try to help.

8. Website use

The content on this website is provided for general information about our services. You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its operation, or copy our content, logos or images without our written permission. We try to keep information accurate and up to date but do not guarantee that it is always complete or error free. Our website may link to third-party sites, and we are not responsible for their content.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to bookings made after the date shown above.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
